El sabor es un poquito agrio, pero si lo disuelves en una bebida dulce no se va a notar el sabor, fue en cuestión de días que vi resultadosI only bought it because it says [powder]. It is not powder. It is small flakes/granule. I’m really not happy about it as it needs to be powder to blend into my product. I’m going to try and use my mortal to see if I can turn it to powder. Work I don’t won’t to do or know if it’s even possible for me doI bought this to make a better quality Gatorade-like drink. I work on a farm & it's hot sweaty work day in, day out. One of our staff have been buying plastic bottles of Gatorade for everyone, which works great but is an environmental disaster with all the plastic bottles, most of which don't get recycled in our area. We also did some research & Gatorade is mostly table salt (seriously) & sugar with a minor amount of other electrolyte restoring salts mixed in. We thought we could do a bit better by creating our own mix for the staff to use instead. This 2lb container from Nutricost is part of our mix to help restore electrolytes & prevent muscle cramps. I've used this straight, mixed with water to test. It mixes well and has nearly no flavor, which are two key features I wanted. Our mix also includes creatine, sugar-free flavoring, & a few other things so anything that doesn't dissolve well (& stay that way), would an issue. Thankfully this product has not 'settled' out in any of our tests so far.The price is good, especially for the overall quality. A lot of our staff are either vegetarian or vegan, plus we have 2 staff with celiac disease so this is something that agrees with everyone plus it's NON-GMO which are farm is too so that's important to us too. There’s quite a few different types of Magnesium and they they often do different things for the body. Aside from it helping to keep the intestines working better, this Magnesium Chloride is documented to also help with Blood Pressure, Migraines, Type 2 Diabetes Osteoporosis and more maladies. Coming in bulk is even better and this one is made clean in an FDA Registered, GMP Certified Facility, is also 3rd Party Tested and in the USA. This big tub comes with 471 Servings that are a bit salty in taste but, it definitely disappears in my protein shakes perfectly. It’s price may be beat by a few bucks out there but, it’s a great product and it’s made very well.I got this to help maintain electrolytes being flushed out of my system as part of an intermittent fasting/keto diet program. 2g single scoop serving dissolved water in states it supplies 210mg or 50% of Daily Value (DV) based on a 2000 calorie dietary input. Product has ad spots on label promoting it as being vegetarian, gluten free, and non-GMO. Supposedly quality assurance is provided through a third-party testing lab, but those details are absent from product labeling. Two (2) pound container states it covers 471 servings. This product is unflavored (other than mineral water-like taste), has the consistency of finely ground salt, and appears to readily absorb moisture. I find that taking the full recommended dosage has more than a desirable laxative effect.I believe this product to be on the expensive side when compared to other readily available alternatives, but your ability to precisely regulate your own intake amount may offset that concern for you.I hope you find my photo and comments to have been helpful in your consideration of this product. This company has always made great products and this is no exception. I love the bulk size and it is very effective.5 stars!I have the 2 lb container, and this is a massive amount of magnesium that will last forever it seems. The taste is not too bad and I mixed with water before bed. It helps me calm down and eventually fall asleep, and it definitely has a laxative effect which I need to adjust based on what I eat during the day otherwise it'll be too much. I've been taking magnesium and numerous forms for many years because it helps calm down my nerves. I noticed I stopped biting my nails and actually need to use a nail clipper when I started doing this. It took me a while to figure out what I did to change in my life since I have been biting them for over 40 years, and it's definitely the magnesium. As long as I figure out the amounts and not having too much laxative effect, then everything is fine. It comes down my general anxiety in general. I never take during the day because I don't want any digestive issues or having to run to the bathroom and like taking it right before bed in a little bit of water..Many Magnesium brands like to tout the pure amount of Maggnesium Chloride (Mc) in their products but while there is a correlation between sheer amount and effective amount it is better to cut through the "big numbers" and focus in on the effective amount, servings per container and cost per serving. The Nutricost is 47 servings of 210mg effective magnesium chloride for ~$30USD. This means the cost per serving is ~ .64 cents. The cost per 100mg is ~.30 cents. When you apply that to other brands and their servings and cost you will quickly realize this is VERY competitive. Make sure to apply the same approach to other brands and servings both loose and pill form.As for taste? Well, it's magnesium a naturally occurring mineral so expect a well water, from the earth "salty but not salt" type taste. We had well water when I was younger and this will give your water the same properties.I prefer to put a serving in my morning 32oz of water along with a serving of sodium bicarbonate and knock out all my requirements that way....I chug it.It does work as advertised. I take it for mild twitches here and there and it does the job. If I skip for a day they will usually come back ever so slightly.Good value, pure form and works as advertised....5/5
