Okay, so I’m a lifetime Texan and consume my fair share of cornbread. Never heard of Polenta till I ran across it on Amazon. I was curious and ordered to give it a try. I used about 25% milk and 75% water ratio as the liquid. And added a little more water as it thickened plus butter to taste. When it was thoroughly done I added a handful of cheese and just enough garlic powder to taste a subtle hint. The texture is creamy with a little texture, but super delicious. I’m going to try cooking it and using it for a base layer for a taco casserole. I did fix it for an elderly friend like oatmeal, with cinnamon, sugar and milk. She loved it. Not good for me. The yellow is more corny while the white barely has a corn flavor, I always buy yellow now. It is so easy to fix, quick, versatile and delicious. This will always be a staple in my pantry!
