It’s a good collagen powder. If you don’t like an odor, it is not good for you. It was my first time buying this brand. If you don’t pay attention, you might not notice an odor. I expected it to have some kind of smell because it is fish collagen after all.So far I can not honestly give an review. I'm still using this. One thing I can say is it smells like dirty fish tank water alone. I put it in my tea and the smell is gone and you cannot taste it. The majority of the time I use 1tsp not 2tsp which is alot to me. The price is comparable if not cheaper than other brands. I would buy it again to see the resultsThis seems to be high in quality and I have been adding it to my morning coffee. It is tasteless and therefore does not affect the coffee's flavor. At this point I have only been using it for about 10 days. I bought it in hopes of keeping my skin younger looking. Of course, an outcome like that is something that is very hard to evaluate. Certainly, daily ingestion of this collagen would need to occur over a period of time for me to be able to ascertain if it works for that purpose or not. However, this protein is still good and nutritious for my body, regardless of how it affects my skin. I have been reading that collagen is hard to get in a regular diet and the many benefits of collagen to health in the body. I will come back and add to this review at a later time if I find that it is working for my skin.I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for marine collagen. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a little hard to dissolve. Hot liquids will dissolve it with brisk stirring, which is why coffee is the perfect drink for this collagen. You can also dissolve it readily in simmering soups and stews. Cold liquids present a bit of a problem. If you try to stir it into milk or lemonade it clumps somewhat. However, I have added it to smoothies that I puree in the blender with no problem at all. So whether you are satisfied with this product will depend upon what you want to mix with it. I plan to buy this again when I run out.It is a bit pricey but I could not find any other brand of this quality for less anywhere.UPDATE 5/10/2017: I was going to re-order this but the price has DOUBLED since I order it in March. What?! Same stuff, twice the price. No thanks. I'll see what else I can find.The seller has emailed me twice requesting a review. I was waiting for an appropriate time period to elapse in order to observe results from the product before reviewing, but to stop the emails I will review now. I have been taking the recommended 2 tbsp. dose of marine collagen in my morning smoothie for four weeks. Sometimes a little powder sticks to the sides of my blender cup, but it seems to blend well and I detected no difference in taste when I prepared my smoothie with or without collagen. If anything, my smoothie appears to be slightly thicker/creamier with the collagen. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed any positive effects in my skin or joints as of yet. I was not expecting instantaneous results, but it seems like a month is a reasonable timeframe in which to observe improvement. As others have commented, the packaging is not ideal, but it is manageable. The first time the seller contacted me, she provided a suggestion for keeping the zipper seal clean, though I haven't had any issues. There is no measuring scoop in my product, so I use a tablespoon. I have tended to add slightly less than full scoops to stretch my supply, but I don't think that I will get a full 34 servings, as noted on the package. After 30 days, I estimate I only have two servings left. Close... At any rate, I intend to order another bag and continue the regimen for another month. It's a great natural protein source without the fat or carbs. However, if I do not observe any effects after that time, I will forgo the expense and focus on other areas of my health and wellness.I purchased this product a week ago after I read the reviews on Amazon. I have tried everything under the sun for weak hair and nails - all to no avail. Even thyroid medications have not made a difference. So, I figure this product might be an answer. It took me several days to get up the nerve to try it, as I have very sensitive sense of smell and I can detect things other folks cannot. When I opened the package I could smell a faint fishy smell and wondered how I would ever get past that. However, I experimented with half vanilla coconut milk, half cold water, and a stevia packet. I added the recommended 2 tablespoons to the mixture and stirred it with a little drink-sized whisk. I then sucked the whole thing down with a straw. It was just fine and I could not detect any fishy odor! I will keep taking it each morning and eagerly await results! I know it will take time to see a difference in skin, hair, and nails, as these body parts do not change overnight as some customers say. I did find the bag packaging a little messy. I wish it came in a jar. I like the fact the the collagen is marine sourced from the North Atlantic and is non-GMO. I keep it in the fridge, hoping that it will stay fresh and potent longer. I know three people who rave about the many results of this product, so I am hopeful. I will post an update in a few weeks.I've been using this product for 3 days so I can't speak to the effectiveness, but wanted to leave a review on the taste/smell.I was expecting this to smell so bad that I wouldn't be able to get it close to my mouth, but I only smelled something a little unpleasant when I got my nose up in the bag. It wasn't a good smell but wasn't disgusting. After mixing it in with a beverage there is no smell of the product at all.There also isn't any taste with mixing it in with coffee, hot tea, smoothie, or orange juice. I probably won't try it with just water.Others have posted pictures of the powder clumping in liquid, I have been adding this to a cup first then stir in a little liquid at a time and the only time there has been clumping was with OJ, I wouldn't recommend using this with cold liquids.
